am I the only one on this forum is doing the major modding on my 2004 525i? 58K on this ride

A slowest car ever in the history of E60 and doing all this major modding? It is worth it?
Yeah, I can just see the Isetta running circles around your 525. With the potential of going as fast as 145 MPH (if you have the nerves) I fail to see how a 525 qualifies as a "slow" car.

dont forget the 520d with only 114hp and 195 ft-lb torque. Then the 520i, one has 122 hp and the other with 125hp!!!

But then again, IF you had an M5, I'm sure $6/gallon gas won't mean anything. LOL.

Anyways, as long as YOU love your car, that's all that really matters. You could paint your car hot pink and have 10 feet high exhaust pipes rolling on 24's, but if you like it, then who cares.. (if everyone else is pointing and laughing )

I did. I installed the shadowline "525XI" badge and the car must have gained at least 40hp.
