Thumbs up

I'm thinking of purchasing a set of Maya rims (RT5) Black center and chrome lip. I was thinking about getting 20x9 for the front and 20x10.5 for the rear. I know there is a member here that has the same setup (believe his username is "John"). I suggested to the rim shop that I was thinking about 20x10 for the rears but he said that 20x10.5 should be fine. I looked at tirerack and they sell rims for the E60 with the width of 20x10.5 also, however tirerack suggests a tire size of 255/30/20 for the fronts, and 295/25/20 for the rear, the rim shop suggested 245/30/20 for the fronts and 285/25/20 for the rears, he said that 295/25/20 is most likely to wide for the E60. The tires they are tryng to sell me are Pirelli PZeros, so that might be why they suggested those sizes. Tirerack suggests Michelin Pilot Sports (which I have had experience with before on my previous vechile). I'm just looking for people suggestions, and experiences. Also how much would the ride change vs the stock 17s I have (530i non sport), almost all the driving I do is highway, and the roads are pretty good down here in south Florida.

Also they said they have the correct offset for my BMW too, however I forgot to get them..

Thanks...

Hello, i'm actually running 19" for mine... the ride is of course much worse than before, especially when you hit above 80 mph. Well, 10.5" for the rear wheel should be all right.. go for it!

My Ride: 04 525i sport, premium, winter, xenon. xm satellite radio, navwithtv dvd system, 1 jl 10w7 sub powered by xtant 1001x amp. 20x8.5/10 on nitto nt555 rubber. acs roof and decklid spoiler, breyton front spoiler.

HERE IS MINE I HAVE 20X9 IN FRONT AND 20X10 IN THE REAR. THIS IS THE WHEEL SIZE THAT DAZZMOTORSPORTS (MAYA'S PARENT COMPANY) SUGGESTS. I RUN 245/35 IN THE FRONT AND 275/30'S IN THE REAR ON NITTO NT555. I HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO TROUBLE WITH THIS SETUP AND IT RIDES PRETTY GOOD WITH A SPORT PACKAGE. I COULDNT GET 20X10.5S WHEN I BOUGHT MY WHEELS. ACTUALLY I WAS HAPPY TO GET ANY WHEELS AT ALL. I WAITED 6 WEEKS FOR THESE AFTER I HAD WAITED 2 MONTHS FOR SYMBOLICS THAT WERE NEVER MADE FOR ME BUT THATS ANOTHER STORY. CHECK AVAILABILITY AND TAKE WHAT U CAN GET. THE 10'S HAVE A GREAT LIP AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED. ILL POST NEW PICS WITH THE BREYTON SPOILER AND ACS ROOF SPOILER SOON, THESE ARE PRE WINTER.
