My Ride: '06 550i
'84 Nissan S12 Turbo
I am trying to decide on rear wheel sizes for my 550 with sport package, and would love to get some 11's back there. I've been told by 2 different vendors (both on here) that a 11 et33 with a 305/30 tire will work just fine with no issues, but might need a 5 or 10 mm spacer to push them out as needed to be perfectly flush. I'm not sure a spacer would even be needed, as they would extend out 9mm more than my 124 wheel with a 15mm spacer, if I'm looking at the offset calculator correctly. I've seen pics of this size/ offset on M5's and looks sweet, but I have not seen this fitment on a regular e60. Would it make a difference?
The reason I'm second guessing is because I stopped by a local high end shop and they said I would have issues with that size......but I'm thinking it is because they didn't carry the brand that I am looking for and he was trying to sell me on 10.5" et27 in the brand he carries.
Any info would be great...and if anyone is wondering the 2 brands I am looking at are the Forgestar F14 and Avant Garde M310

i was running 11 in the rear w/ 305 before dont have the offsets off the top of my head. only thing i would caution is make sure you get a tire that has a round sidewall instead of square. you might rub on 305s with square sidewall.
