Which 19''s should I get???
#1
I am getting some 19''s in a month or so for my '05 silver 545i....what should I get. I have a limit of about $400-500 a wheel. I was thinking about DPE's but I am almost positive those are way more than $500 a wheel right? Otherwise, I was thinking about maybe some BBS CH's...I don't really know what else is out there that's in that price range. Any opinions appreciated!

I think you should start by choosing a style and finish that you like...five spoke, mesh, deep dish, silver, chrome, black, single piece, multi-piece, lightweight or not..etc... Once you have the look in mind, you can search for wheels in that price range.
From the two wheels you listed, it seems like you're interested in mesh-type wheels. have you checked out the Breyton Spirit? I believe they might be in your price range. What about the stock style 101s like that on Donv/vnod's car?
I should also add that wheels make the most noticeable and dramatic change to your car so take your time and find something you really really like....even if it means you might spend $600 or more each wheel.

Well, for that budget, for a BBS CH similar look, I would try someting off of ebay. Monet wheels also make some pretty nice replicas for a good price.
Honestly, 19"...little rubber....chance of craking or bending with low quality wheels. You always get what you pay for...

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
I am fairly pleased with the look of my 166M rims. Will post pics next week after I get the M-kit side skirts on.

might get some 20''s, might be moving away from the 19''s. As of right now though I think the BBS CH would look the best for the price range i'm in, but I don't think they make those in 20''s right? I like the M5 wheels, but I don't want to get those b/c my brother has an M5 and I would just feel like a poser when I went home and I have the same wheels...i was thinking about them before but not now. Any other suggestions guys? Thanks for those who have helped so far.
Also, what kind of springs should I put on there, I hear Eibach Pro-Kit is the best for a not so slammed look. I don't want the slammed look, but without springs i think it can look goofy
TIA to everyone, you guys seriously help out a lot
-Phil
by the way, what do you guys think of Breyton Visions?

I like the Breyton Vision. Looks very sporty. You should also note that you might encounter rubbing issues with 20s. I'm experiencing it with my 20s but I think it depends on the offset. Hoping to have that fixed today by installing KW Variant 2 coilovers and rolling the fenders.
