hey guys i want some opinions on what i should do with my '06 525i... I have 19inch rims that i want to put on. After putting on the front tires i noticed that there is a huge gap... I did some searching on this forum and others and came to the conclusion that i either need to lower it or buy some sport springs? Does anyone have any suggestions on what is best? I know i can get sport springs for the front and somehow lower the back myself with a tutorical on this forum. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks in Advance
Dimo
Ps. If anyone has pictures of before and after or even just an after with 19s that would be great!

Which wheels do you have and what size tires? I plan on doing the same thing. If you get lowering springs, you should get sport shocks or else the new springs will kill the stock shocks. I'm thinking of doing Eibach Pro-kit springs with Koni Sport (yellow) shocks. For a little more, some here bought Ksport coilovers and love them (see member: acuteperformance).

Hi guys,
I am experiencing the same thing, I just got 19 inches wheels since i could not get 20 inches with suits my E60. A bit difficult to get the proper offset in Indonesia for E60.... the car also having a big gap so I plan to buy spring to lower it down sometimes next week. I hope it will help the appearance.
I will post some pics once I lower it down ....

Is your car a non-Sport Pkg? Usually with SPK the ride is perfect w/ 19" (w/ 20" probably even better) so no need of lowering kit.
But w/o Sport Pkg the visual gap will get more visible as the sidewall of the tire become less and less due to lower profile of 19" or 20".
