My Ride: 2004 545i, 1995 M3
I am about to get larger wheels for my 2004 545i. My car has the sports package which includes the active suspention. I know from the past that adding larger diameter wheels can make the car look like a 4X4 unless you add springs. I have not seen springs available for my car nor do I want to lower it. Have any members added larger wheels without springs? How did it look? Have pics? I will be getting a stagged setup. Are there certain sizes and offsets i should be looking for. The reason I ask its that I noticed some members use spacers to push out the rear rims, I would rather not do that and get the correct offset from the get go. What sizes would require fender rolling?
Thanks

if you change you mind about lowering your car, there are actually springs available for your 545, also coilovers if you choose that route. as for the wheels, here's a thread where eurocarfan has put pics up when he first put on 20" rads with still stock sport suspension on his dinan 5: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=freedom hope this helps.
