Default 18" wheel fitment questions

Hey everyone.

I have a 2004 545i with the original staggered 18" #124 wheels @ 18x8 and 18x9. According to the BMW wheel specs, the fronts have a 20mm offset and the rears show a 32mm offset.
I want to use my existing tires on new #343 wheels but the wheel supplier is telling me that the replacement wheels both have a 20mm offset and they are guaranteed to fit.

Can anyone shed some light on whether this is true or not?

Thanks

The OEM Style 343 wheels are made for the F10 and come with a ET 34 offset. They also only come in 20" size. So unless your wheel supplier is offering replicas, your current tires are not going to fit.

They are replicas. 18X8 front and 18X9 rear.
I'm just concerned about the offset.

Well, your wheel dealer said that they're GUARANTEED to fit, so you have recourse if they don't for some reason.

Also be concerned about the hub bore. It should measure 72.5 mm. If it doesn't, you'll get vibration in your steering wheel. That can be corrected with hub rings, which your dealer should throw in for you.

20 mm offset for the rear should fit just fine. I'm currently running et15 in the rear with 19x10 wheel.
