Will I encounter any issues (spacers needed etc)?
Dont know exact offsets yet.

No you won't have any issues, I used to have the same wheels on my car (see my sig or gallery). OEM wheels almost never cause issues, just make sure the tires size is correct (which it will be if he is using OEM sized tires on his 550)

My Ride: Bmw 530d 2004
The correct size would be 245/35 R19 front and 275/30 R19 rear.
Lots of good tyres around and everyone will suggest what they have I guess .
I'm on Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 and they are great! Reasonable priced, they don't tend to pull in tracks on the road etc...
