just wonder is anyone here running on 245/40/19 F and 275/35/19 with style 166 wheel? Is there any problem w/ this spec??
The problem caused in the front is do to the aggresive offset of the 166 rim (really made for a larger fender on the M5).
The rub was very slight on the top of the fender lip. I hated when it made the noise and I liked the look of these tire sizes, so I milled off 0.075 from the front rims to change my offset and corrected the rub issue. I do not believe there is a rim integrity problem as the rim is still 0.550 thick after the mod.

I am running 245/40/19 on the front and 285/35/19 on the rear. The rear is no problem. The front will have a slight rub when you hit full compression. I had one spot on the freeway during my comute that I would hit full compression if doing 80.

I wouldn't go with that tall a tire. This tire calculator recommends staying within 3% of stock tire height.

You can run 35/40 on non sport, but you still might run into rubbing issues. Most people change out the tires 245/35 and 275/30
Don't be cheap. It looks good with higher profile tires anyways.
