I have 19" staggered alloys. I want to purchase 12mm spacers all round and want to know what length bolt thread I need.
Standard OEM bolt thread length is 26mm (please correct me if I am wrong) so I figure 12mm spacer on top takes this to 38mm bolt thread length...is this correct?
Ebay sell a 35mm bolt and a 39mm bolt...which one should I use? Will the 39mm be to long, and the 35mm short. I dont see a 38mm bolt (UK auctions).
The car is an BMW 5 series e60, 525D with standard suspension. Will I have any rub with size spacer on the front and back without modification of fenders.
regards
Kaz

Availability and prices were great when I ordered last year.
IMO go for the 39mm, there is always some space left. I had the same issue when I ordered my 5/15 mm spacers, but cannot find the exact bolt length I went for.
You might have rubbing on the front with 12mm. The most I've seen on the front is 10mm. I'm no expert though.

If you decide to go with the 12mm spacers, then take the 39mm bolts.
