I can't pick. I love them all and cannot have any of them on my Xi I'm beyond torn... terrible thread booo-hooo

YES YOU CAN!!!!

You can fit the type 128 on your Xi. You simply need to have the 19" type 128 from the BMW X3.

Here are the wheel sizes and offsets for the X3 and the Xi

X3 E83
8,5x19 front 235/45R19 ET 46
9x19 rear 255/40R19 ET 51

The E60 Xi model has the following set-up (18s)
8x18 front/rear 245/40R18 ET 43

Now go call Gary at "that NY BMW dealership" (?!) and save your loved ones a lot of time and hassle look for the perfect christmas gift... just send them the invoice from BMW and a thank-you note

I vote 128

As you can see in my signatute, I am currently running the 128s in winter and the M172s in summer. On my previous E60 I had the 128s and M166s. For a long time the M166s were my favourite, but now its the 128s The M172s have always been lower down my list, but I took them due to spacer + fitment issues on my E61 Touring (air suspension means less space at the rear).

Good luck choosing -- you can't go wrong with that little list

Dude, please! It is not the same, doesn't have that concavity - those E83 "128's" should be called 127.5's, cuz they aren't 128s and you know it.

ok, I know they're not the same, but other members seem to be happy with the compromise -- but point taken!

172" FTW!!

Nicest set of rims for E60/E61.

166 is to M5-ish..
My alpine white E61 will arrive next week, I am planning to buy 172's and paint them gun-metal-grey...
Should you do aswell

They are all nice wheels.

But I'm in the 172 camp. After those, I like the 167s (not a choice in this vote) and the 128s.

of course I will, when it's summer time here in germanyI think it's a shame to use such a nice set of rims in winter, plus cleaning them is such a mess, in winter I will stay with 135's .
a friend of mine is painter, actually he will paint them for me,but I will post pics and do a little DIY afterwards
