10 speakers??

Hey...I keep reading that the standard US audio system is a 10 speaker unit. Where are all the speakers?
I see one in the door panels in the front....tweeters next to the mirrors.
So is that 4 speakers or 2?
I have no rear door speakers and 2 in the rear deck?.
Where are the 4-6 other speakers?

US standard, Europe Hi-Fi
2 tweeter in the front door mirrors.
2 mids in the front doors
2 subs below the front seats
2 tweeter in the rear parcel shelf
2 mids in the rear parcel shelf
Total : 10
Logic 7 have the above plus
2 mid in the rear doors
1 center on the top of the dashboard.
Total : 13
Don't know where the Individual systems extra speakers are.

The reason for the confusion is different regions have different "standards".
US standard have subs, Europe standard don't,
which is why its always essential for people to see your location in your profile to answer questions on this forum.

i think the european system has the subs...im sure diffrent than the US but i think there are speakers under the seats in the all e60s...

Sorry I should have said the US cars have 'amp powered' subs and the EU cars dont. The EU subs are powered by an amp in the Hi-Fi set-up but powered directly by the headunit in the standard.
