the sport package e60 is about 0.7" lower than a non-sport

1" is not enough. Save yourself money in the long run and just buy coilovers

NeRwEEzy thanks for that. Just wanted to know for when I decide to put M5tech front/rear on my non-sport whether a drop is necessary for the correct look. 0.7" doesn't sound a lot but I guess makes a whole lot of difference to the general stance of the car. I'll be in touch when I am ready to pull the trigger on the M5tech

IMHO, I don't think you would notice an inch drop.

yeah, 1" drop isn't going to be noticeable at all. the gaps still there, cars still monster truckin, and you're not going to scrape up your front lip that hard unless you drive your car straight up inclines, and go off roading over speed bumps.

edit: i have eibach pro-kit. rides as close to oem as it gets for aftermarket springs i think. they advertise 1.2 - 1.4 or something like that but i think it's a 1" drop all around. get at weezy or joe from trinity they'll help you out.

ive already ripped one lip off (sand on beach wasnt even)

:l

and before that i cracked it leaving it with a hole from a surprise tire on the highway at night

...and now im planning on having the lip blended into my front bumper

so if i get a too big of a drop in front then id be total fucked and have to repaint/replace both of em

i know its not the smartest idea but god damn it i want them to be seamless

in either case the rears r good as they r now but its just the front that bothers me

plus i dont want the slammed look... just not for me
