08 550 Sport --Best Dual Exhaust/Muffler Sound Without Cutting M-Tech

Hi Guys!
I'm smitten with the Mod Bug. I love my 08 550 Exhaust note especially with my Remap and AFE CAI.
But reading posts about only spending $600 for a Remus muffler/exhaust intrigues me. Everybody (and I mean everybody) knowledgeable about the M-Tech bumper on 550 sports says there is no way to install a Dual Exhaust without cutting the Diffuser/bumper to fit. I have ZERO INTEREST in converting to a Quad (M5 in 28 mos will solve that).
But I'd like the Remus/Supersprint sound if there was a way to get it. I don't want B&B or any droning sound exhaust. I'm looking for a Euro growl a bit stronger than what I'm rocking now.
I'm not handy and don't know if there was a way to order the Remus Muffler and connect to the stock exhaust tips I have now. If it was possible and I did this, could I have the exhaust note I'm wanting without having to cut the bumper/diffuser? Here is the Remus sound I like:

I'd really appreciate some solid recommendations/advice. If anybody has a solution with a shop in So Cal, I'm all ears.
Thanks for the help.

The 550 exhaust will fit your bumper, however it will be a very tight fit.
NY550i has had installation problems, the exhaust needs to be welded on.
We have one stock in at the moment and we are offering free shipping until December 31th.

We also have specific 550i sound clips, email us to request at info@remusexhaustshop.com
It is also in stock.

I'm sure an experienced muffler shop can easily swap out your stock muffler for the Remus one and weld on the stock exhaust tips. I think AAA Exhaust in SoCal is where Remuse and Vegastrashed had their RDSport exhausts adjusted and they came highly recommended.

The B&B that I used to have fit both the stock bumper and the M-Tech bumper, so the Remus should fit both as well (the cutout is at the same spot on both bumpers). The B&B tips were 3.5" diameter duals and the Remus are smaller (I think 3.3"), so that should not be a problem either. There may be an issue with the Remus inlet pipe being a little too small to slip on and be clamped on the OEM 550 pipe, but if it were me I would have it welded on anyway instead of the slip on/clamp method.

So Cal's issue is that his '08 has slightly revised rear bumpers which make the Remus exhaust a tight squeeze compared to pre-LIC E60s.
nyuballer had it on his and the Remus looked fine...

I emailed the guys at AAA Exhaust in West LA. Haven't heard back from them yet.
Surely there is somebody here who has an After Market Exhaust Dual on their 550i with M-Tech. Help a brother out!
Bump!

It fits fine.
You are the same guy who said another 550i owner was having installation problems with regard to having to weld the muffler on?
Sorry. I need more proof it fits. I've been told by plenty of installers it doesn't without cutting.
