I have been receiving a lot of emails and PMs about the Combox retrofit for the 5-series vehicles with the CIC.
The CIC is a great upgrade and worth the money for sure, but once you get it you can think of adding even more features.
The Combox retrofit (and the CIC software update) will add the following features to your CIC:
- Office Menu - text messages, calendar, tasks, contact, reminders, etc. synced with your mobile phone over Bluetooth
- Bluetooth Audio
- Album Art Cover
- 6FL option - USB port in your armrest if you do not have it now
- Map SAT View
- Internet Access - through the GPRS/3G mobile phone connection
- and more

As for the Combox it's not really an expensive mod once you have the CIC from me (updated to the latest software version).
The price depends on a few things so please send me an email at info@modyfikacjebmw.pl, include your VIN and I will get back to you with the pricing.
One remark to everybody. The Combox is an addon to the CIC. It is not possible to retrofit the Combox without the CIC.

Just purchased the the CIC+Combox+6NR from you. While I see a DIY for the CIC retrofit, do you have a link for the combox DIY or will you be sending instructions for it? Also, this question also applies to 6FL/6NR DIY.
