Got it. Given that you are going up there, 17s make sense. My mountain (actually mountains) was Killington. From my childhood to my late teens my dad and I had a half-share at a ski house in Killington just off of Roaring Brook Road and we went up there every other weekend to ski. Those were the days. Stratton is a fantastic mountain. I have never made it to Okemo yet.
Oh and for 17's. the winter tires are definitely cheaper for 17's than 18's. Gotta save every penny I can now.

No offense Mike, just amazed at the difference between your car normally and your "winter setup", huge change. For anyone that wasn't sure what difference wheels can make - here's your answer.

I dunno about style, but in the winter SAFETY is king. I have live through a few NYC winters myself, I know. (of course I had the advantage of growing up in Colorado and taking my driving test in snow - THAT was fun
