i recently installed my 18" RFTs. i had 16" non-RFTs, and i can definitely say its like driving on ROCKS.

But there's a slight vibration after ive installed my 18s. when i drive fast, i can feel the car vibrate but when i brake NO VIBRATION ON STEERING WHEEL(so no a balancing issue,no?)

could it just be the 18"s RFTs effect or something is wrong?

anyhow, going tomorrow for wheel balancing and alignement, hope all is ok.

But would appreciate any comment regarding the vibration.

Rather difficult to say. I have only ever had 18" RFT on my car. I don't think it's bad, but relative to 16" non-RFTs, I'm sure it's harder.

I said it in another post, you should go to a dealer with a Hunter Road Force machine and have the wheels re-balanced. The Hunter Road Force is able to match the tire to the optimal point on the wheel, basically balancing in ways the old equipment was unable.

I would recommend rebalancing too. I had a real vibrating problem last summer. I had to change two out of four new tires (18" non-RTFs). Those two were out of round and it was me who noticed it ! I usually want to watch every step the mechanics do to my car !

Hi,

you should balance the new tires with this machine - it will solve your problem!
