I have mine set to 100 so I know I'm going a little crazy if I hear the beep.
To set it, I just press the voice control button and say LIMIT to it :D If it wasn't that easy then I probably wouldn't use it. |
but I like getting frisky with my car

I do, on speed-limited roads.
Exactly! I have mine set at the speed at which if I got caught by a speed camera it would mean points on my licence. If the limit is 100, then up to 115 is only a ?20 fine (which let's face it is nothing). At 116-120 it's a ?70 fine (which is a little annoying). At 121-125 it means an even bigger fine but worse than that it's a license point. So if I'm on a 100 limit road and I'm overtaking often, I'll set my limit at 120 because I want that noise to remind me when I've crept over my limit. It doesn't mean I immediately back off all the time, but it puts me into a "be damn careful, it's points on your licence zone" mode. To set it, I just press the voice control button and say LIMIT to it :D If it wasn't that easy then I probably wouldn't use it. No see... I meant 100 MPH.... |
