My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

I just turned this feature off. I can understand why they put it on, but I don't know who actually uses it?

I have mine set to 100 so I know I'm going a little crazy if I hear the beep.

I actually kind of like it. I have it set at 100, and I am amazed at how many times I will be jumping in traffic and/or pulling away from some jag-off and the chime hits rather quickly. I is amazing how it surprises me sometimes. These cars feel like they are doing 60 when you are actually hitting 100 m/hr. So I find it a nice subtle reminder that I am getting a little too frisky with the car.
