I'm pretty sure they will NEVER EVER deliver a US spec car without warning stickers.
iceman, you are very right. i think bmw doesn't want another "hot-coffee-spilled-all-over-my-laps" kind of lawsuit.

I'm pretty sure that the US DOT requires the warnings on ALL cars so it's not just a BMW thing and there's no way you can ask them to not install them.

Take a look at other new cars -- they all have them.

For me, I don't even see them anymore. (My '01 E39 had them too.)

I think I'll try this afternoon. First I'm going to try Goo B Gone..

I'll take pictures as I do it and post...

This board is incredible! Thanks to Don Juan I've hard wired my Valentine to the map lights, and thanks to various other posts I've checked my headlight brackets (ok so far), and now I'm gonna remove those bloody yellow stickers!

Goo B Gone works great after the removal of the stickers. You can also order them without the stickers here in Europe.

When I find a matching cloth in the fabric store, I plan to make a sleeve to cover these stckers and add storage. I have yet to use the vanity mirror.

DO NOT USE non-acetone nail polish remover on the yellow warning stickers. Leaves a black mess on the visor that is a bear to remove.

DO USE Lacquer Thinner, available in any hardware store. Strips everything off in a couple minutes, no mess.
