Man, don?t they make Blizzak?s for coach buses and 18-wheelers?
The 16" of snow wasn?t quite there yet, but it was about 10", and the town did a good enough job that with my blizzak?son my ole ?05 530i, I got around just fine. I didn?t drive any more than 20 mph, but for this blizzard that was okay.
I was going to go on the highway, but the entrances were all blocked.
On one, a big-ass coach bus was stuck, blocking the entrance, and on the other one, a big-ass 18-wheeler was stuck, also blocking the entrance.
All in all, though I didn?t really travel far in this blizzard, I?m glad the ole bimmer held up good in the snow storm, I also saw quite another of other passenger vehicles ?stuck? on the streets. One driver even got out his car with a ?shovel? to unstick his car.
Haven?t gotten stuck since I got Blizzak?s for the bimmer, and they held up good today, in the wee hours of the morning. As the day progresses and they do more snowing, I guess it?ll be even easier to get around.

Hell I'm braving the Chicago winter with 275 wide Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires on the rear with 19" 166's! I even turn DSC off for fish-tailing action!
Rear Wheel Drive for the win!
