Thumbs up

Well... I am not a Sirius fan. I had the service for a while and didnt like the content (sure Howard is good but...). I currently have XM subscription and love it. I have a XM2GO receiver that I can take on the go in the car that gets pretty good SAT reception while driving (plugged in thru AUX Input), and can record 5 hours of SAT radio for later playback, but I long for the day when I can have XM in the I-Drive window/system with full functionality, rather than Sirius.

Does anyone know any mods/hacks/options to change the Sirius built-in I-Drive option to XM Radio in North America? I know BMW doesnt support XM in I-Drive, due to their contract with Sirius, but I cant be the only person out there that wanted XM in my E60 vs. Sirius...

Any help on this topic is appreciated in advance....

The bad news is that BMW only support sirius. If you want, you can buy XM radio unit and hook the output to AUX. That's the best we can do.

Best Regards.

That's not good. I have XM in the other car and while the wife loves it, I think it's a waste of money and don't like the format of any of the stations. I guess I was hopeful that Sirius might be better when I ordered it for my E60.
