xi owners: Anyone ever use Xdelete?
I've been aware of the app for a while, I'm curious if anyone had used it to convert their xi car to RWD. Seems like it could be worth the $150 license to mess around with it.

I'm in your shoes. It looks interesting, but I'm not convinced id get much use from it. The rwd mode isn't going to reduce drivetrain loses, so at best you get reduced transfer case wear and sightly better driving dynamics. The other modes, where all the fun is apparently, amount to reducing torque transfer which allows for increased front/rear slippage... Not great for transfer case wear.
xHP, another product from the manufacturer, also looks technically interesting, but I'm too paranoid to risk putting more stress on the transmission. The occasional use of sport/manual mode is sufficient. If I really want to have fun, I'll drive my 135is.

Have xHP and xDelete in a 10/90 split on my wagon.
Makes the steering WAY lighter and much more "dynamic" feeling. I too, if want to have fun, drive my Z4M or one of my supercharged MINIs, but, it has made the vehicle MUCH more pleasant to drive. Especially in poor weather.
Best 150 dollars I spent to improve the feeling of the vehicle, to be honest. (xDelete)

Thanks for the feedback. I might give it a try once the roads dry up a bit.
My Scirocco had been hibernating all winter, I'm definitely itching to get it out and flog it on some back roads!
