My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

If/when I buy my next X-drive BMW, I will probably remove the X-drive emblem from the sides and just buy the badges for the trunk here: http://www.bimmian.com/60/SVE/ Incidentally, I replaced the chrome lettering with shadowline lettering on my black E60 and it looks sharp.

Those shadow emblems would compliment shadowline trim very nicely.

Depend on who drive the car, just take one side off.... so your wife see that badge and you don't see it.
