Quite happy with my 525d Sport touring now that I've lowered it, fitted heated seat and got it remapped. One thing I miss is the Bi-Xenons I had on my e46.
Been looking and see there are a few different types for sale on ebay. Maybe its just me but on realoem I can only find 1 part number but surely there are up to 4.
1 - Xenon
2 - Adpative Xenon
3 - Bi-Xenon
4 - Adaptive Bi-Xenon
Can anyone shed some light on this
Good close up photo's would be good. I know the Bi's have a shutter but I'd like to see a pic of each type

Sorry I can't shed any light on your problem ( pardon the pun), but i know exactly why your missing the Xenons... Standard lights are very poor... Dreadful
I'm sure someone will chime in and help out

Thanks littlemouse,
Just realised there may be 8 part numbers as I need RHD ones. I know RHD can be converted for driving on the continent but all this does is dip the left headlight to prevent dazzle as opposed to being fully LHD versions.
I find the halogens are better than e46 halogens but can't hold a candle to Bi-xenons, sorry about pun No2

Ok after a proper search on realoem I found part numbers.
I've seen an adaptive and a non adaptive light for sale individually but they have no bulbs or ballasts. They seem very cheap and I was wondering if they will look the same? I don't need the adaptive option as I doubt I'd get that working and I've heard that either will fit. Trouble is if ballasts and bulbs are going to be expensive then I'd be better off waiting for a complete set.
One is 02/2005 to 03/2007 part no: 63127160196
Other has no part number and is listed as active LHS

Ok, lets say I bought these...
All I would then need is the bulbs and ballast, right?
I know being retrofit it will flicker without a trip to the dealer for LCM or I could do what I did on my e46 and solder in a capacitor to get around this.
