When my Xenon is on you can see something inside the lamb (look at pic enclosed). Who can tell me
what this is, and can you clean it ?

Thanks
Rob

Are you talking about the dust particles against the front glass? Whatever it is, there's no way for you to get inside of the cover to clean it out.

Listen to me. Do NOT go into the light. Stop where you are. Turn away from it. Don't even look at it.

Yep that's what i mean. Almost every Xenon light on a car has it. You say it's a kind of dust ? No way to clean it ?

Anyone ever notice condensation in their lens. Does it look like dried drops with dust stuck on it. Was told by tech that these are not entirely sealed. Believe it or not.

romaatme, the problem is you can't open up the lights to get on the inside to clean.

First of... I made a .jpg out of that .doc :

Xenon-xenon.jpg

Now, there's no way to open the housing without risking to break it.
Not even my dealer nor BMW can open it safely! (They actually want to get in there, but can't!).

Condensation... YES! Those housings are NOT sealed, because the Xenons create too much heat. This heat needs to find a way out! Unfortunately, this causes condensation sometimes, but it should go away fast when the lights are on.

So, stay away from those housings!

as Iceman told you , the heat needs to get out of the lighthousing so this "problem" is known to all cars that have xenon.

Still i don't get it. The xenon light gives hardly any heat. Just try it after a ride ?
