According to this article in the German Auto Motor und Sport, BMW will replace the 520i (2,2 170HP) with a tuned down 525i (523i - 177HP, 230NM).

xDrive will also be introduced on a 525xi and a 530xi, both E60 and E61. Check out the link for details. I'm sure e.g. the German speaking Iceman would be able to extract a bit more information from the article than I am.

I would love to know what reasons lie behind the biggest auto market in the world (U.S) not being able to get the M-Package. Not from Bekkers but from BMW.

i am in a "negotiation"

with BMW NA due to them not bringing the M-sport...i've gone as far as to start a conversation with BMW AG as well...i am awaiting more responses as I refuse to submit on this....

i will keep all aware of my luck...but it would be great if we all constantly flood BMW NA with emails and requests...i can provide a contact who first responded if anyone want to assist
