This thing has gone koo-kooo. Constantly showing up and when i check the tire pressure, the pressure is good.
WTH? I tried resetting it but don't see the option.

Can someone tell me please? This is driving me nuts.

Ok this is pretty simple to do and somewhat tricky and unclear if you follow BMW instruction. Here is how i do mine;

1-From I drive menu exit all running functions(hit menu button next to joystick)
2-Push joystick.
3-Scroll to "service menu".
4-Scroll top menu to find FTM.
5-Highlight Box(orange) on to ftm.
6-press joystick.
7-Reset FTM.

here is where it gets tricky,its going to tell you that is "initializing" but ignore it and start driving.After u drive a couple of minutes exit service menu all together and it should stop. Remember BMW FTM doesn't have any sensors in the wheels it detects the and calculates pressure by wheel spin!!!!

Good luck!

You can't be moving when you reset and the car has to be on a flat surface or else the system won't get a proper reading. It does take about 5-10 secs. to reset.

ive found FTM is also sensitive to temperature changes. if you initially set the FTM on a cold day, then inevitably it will go off in the spring/summer since the air in the tires expands...and vice-versa.

It is my understanding that you can't be moving when you press "reset", but once it starts initiallzing you can start driving. Without TPMS, the car needs to be moving to get an accurate reading of "tire pressure". This is the case with my car anyway.
