Insurance is gonna cover it no problem still sucks

Maybe I am going to do it out of insurance just to keep the cost down... it shouldn't be more than 500 for a new bumper painted and stuff.

Her car is basically the same as mine, scuffed and dented.

Thanks John....could have been worse. Insurance is just always such a hassle...you know how it is

Oh yeah, and no matter how reputable the body shop is, check the paint in daylight after they are done before you sign off on it. Also, might want to look into her insurance giving you a reduced value settlement, if this mishap shows up in Carfax it will really hurt your resale value.
