I think about it the opposite way. I love seeing my mileage go up especially to the point that I reach 100k, 125k and up milestones. Makes me feel like I am getting the maximum enjoyment for my money. The car is going to depreciate anyway, mine as well feel like you are maximizing the opportunity.

Interesting viewpoint. I suppose mileage is irrelevant if you maintain the car very well.
