Ouch did anyone see the rear impact test for BMWs in general... I know it was talked about before I remember it... and the only thing that did ok was the Comfort seat head restraints. http://www.iihs.org/ratings/head_restraint...raints.aspx?bmw |

The pre facelift E60 scored poorly in testing as well - if I remember correctly BMW were allowed to a re-test with a modified car which scored better (but still not particularly good).
That was for frontal crash I think... and then they redesigned somthing sometime in late 2004 No to date one knows when exactly the redesign happen and what they redesigned to improve their score... But as for side crash test... I'm not sure if they ever tested side impact on Pre_LCIs |
