Which is worse? door dings or body side molding?

The best places to park in parking structures are next to a column so that the column is on your passenger side and at the end of a row. The ideal location is a spot with both criteria.

It's been 3 years and my car is still ding-free! (knock on wood)

I always park away from other cars and never take it to places I know have bad parking (for example, it has only seen airport parking once and I spent 15 minutes looking for the perfect spot)
