Excellent! Enjoy. I'm still loving my 535d M-Sport - great car.

OMG - I love the spec of your new car - absolutely perfect in my eyes
Been seriously considering ordering a 535d and p/ex my 530i...out of interest (and if you don't mind telling !) what sort of %age discount did you get from the dealer ?

Thanks for all the kind words guys, the car is lovely, I haven't even given it any welly yet either.
Been out for a bit of a ride tonight to see the wifes grandparents, tried out the active cruise briefly and oh my good, how cool is that!
It did loose lock on the car in front once as it swerved into one of the lanes at traffic lights which was interesting considering the cruise was set 20mph higher than we were going, but then it's mostly designed for use on motorways where it won't loose the lock on the car in front. When we came to traffic lights I was absolutely in awe of the fact that it stopped behind the car in front and then followed it away when the lights changed. Absolutely brilliant.
The headlights are also very good (as you'd expect) and I'm soo pleased with the car.
Thanks, it's perfect in our eyes too. We're so pleased we were able to buy it, and add all the options that we have added too.
With regards to discounts, as Russ said there are some fantastic deals online, ?8k is an amazing discount. If you don't want to go the internet route (like me), then I would say 10% + is readily achievable.
Cheers again

Congrats mate, thats a lovely car with a lovely spec. I just got my first E60 2 months ago, albiet a 2 year old 525 M sport. I have to say, even having had the previous 5 series model, I never get into the car and drive without thinking, these are the dogs bollocks. I find excuses to drive, I am sure you will do the same.
Enjoy!

Very, very nice
I am 2 weeks away from that same big grin - my car arrives in the country tomorrow and I have almost the identical specs as yours. Enjoy.
