Persian, yeah I dunno man, I HAVE hit some pretty nasty bumps at high speed in my Foose and Vertini wheels before, some of which made me feel I definitely should've damaged them, but they always withstood damage.
From Isaiah and now your experience, I personally would stay the heck away from Miro.

They aren't horrible rims but they aren't forged rims either, it is pretty much like the saying that you get what you pay for. I've driven on mine for almost 14,000 miles now without any bends, cracks etc. (knock on wood) until this issue and obviously it was a user error by not avoiding an object in the road at high speeds. I'm not sure how a $5000 set of wheels would of held up vs these $1200 set of wheels hitting a large object at 70+ mph but I wouldn't think in that situation it would have ended well either.
No pun intended? hah.. sorry couldn't resist.
Just seems like an odd happenstance.. I can't picture how it happened which makes it more of a mystery to me.
