Just to add further confusion to the questions asked about the interior door pulls I saw a 530d on Saturday at a dealer here in the UK that had the polar wood trim which INCLUDED the door pulls. These were not supposed to be available until Qtr2 2004. According to the BMW colour trim booklet for the UK these door pulls should have been in the titanium finish even though the dash trim is wood.

It seems that BMW have got things badly muddled up on this launch.

 

Indeed, the plot thickens. Although this pales into insignificance in light of the 545i and 545i 6sp pricing confusion that appears to be ongoing in the US. I'm sure it will get sorted out quickly, but not before someone gets their dangly bits in a vice!
