and then i saw this.....


then not so happy. This happened in my driveway. but it looks like they never got in.


So the question is did they try to get in and take the car, or were they disturbed, and are coming back at some point.


Anyone know how one would go about repairing this?

From the impact marks around the keyhole, the thief (thieves) had tools and used a dent puller. So if they were carrying that, they were prepared.
They might of gotten spooked by something, or someone and took off. So be prepare as they might come back.

Lawn chair, a few hours of your time, a couple of caffeinated drinks, and a shotgun should fix that problem.

Indeed. Perhaps a recording of a CLINK CLINK sound of a shotgun would do the trick? lol

Wasn't it the UK that had the issue with thieves that figured out a way to bypass BMW's security systems and basically start any car they wanted?

It seems they stole my friends e60 the other day same method was used, as it was recovered some hours later
