I have a '10 528i and a '08 535i, and I have had chatter problems with all variations of wipers EXCEPT the original BMW wiper refills that I get from the dealer...that's right, I'm buying my wipers from the dealer or $54.45. But considering how much I hate wiper chatter, that is the best money I ever spend. I would much rather spend $54.45 for wipers that work, than $5 for wipers that don't...

Same for me. I gave up on all the expensive wipers from the local stores - the bosche's, etc.

I finally ordered the original BMW part number - still a boshe product, and we have perfectly quite wipers now.

Just about to test this again. Our X5 wipers are horrible chatter makers. I have the BMW product on my bench ready to install.

Some people blame the chatter on the Rain-X, but I am an avid user and do not have chatter with 5 year old blades.

Previously I have went through doing a complete clean/polish of the glass to remove anything on the surface and it didn't help much. I think it just requires finding blades that work well with the tension of the wiper arm and the angle of the blades.
