Well, the cold weather and the winter is almost here now, so I installed the wintertrires last week.

I finally had some spare time this weekend and washed the car, and tested my brothers new Canon 400D camera..

Pretty good pictures I must say, if you take the bad lightning into account

After 114.000 km's and 3? years I'm still addicted to this car, the way it looks, the way it drives etc..

I'm driving, and my brother is taking the picture:

Nice pics, one of the best things about these forums is they are global (almost hate that word but whatever). I look at the backgrounds as much as the cars. I have never been to Denmark.

I'm in the middle of my winter change over (northeast US). I put two tires on last night and as soon as I get my butt moving I'm going into the garage to put the other two on. Of course the news says that it will be 60 degress F for most of next week!!!

I have an 05 545i. Hope to post some pics next week after I give it a good wash on one of those 60 degree days.

Have great Sunday!!!!

Hi,

Nice pics, thanks!

I have the same wheels for winter tyres as you do.

Don't you need front plates in Denmark? Most of cars I have seen there have front plates but your 5er is without, how come?

Best regards from Finland where winter has made it's second trial this autumn...

Thanks!!

A front plate is required here in Denmark and I drive with it installed 24-7.. I installed it after the photo shoot

But damn the E60 looks good without front license plates!

Ricracing: Do you have a good price on your crome grills, since you have traded your car in for a LCI E60?

I can really recommend the chrome grills delivered by BMW-chromteile.de (127,95 EUR)!
http://www.bmw-chromteile.de/webshop/catal...a88b3e5467af9bc

I ordered them myself and installation was very easy following the DIY instructions found on this forum.

Go and have a look on their site. Delivery is very fast (approx. 3 days, but depends on your location of course).
Also ordered the Chrome tailpipe for the 520d (OEM = oval tailpipe in steel). Great quality and look much nicer than the steel.

Enjoy and hope to have been of some help to you.

Still nice after more than 100,000kms!!

Just wondering whether the leather rim of your steering wheel shows deterioration in the form of losing the black dye?

Mine shows white spots only after 40,000kms where the dye fell off...

to TitangrauII530i and others

Please do not quote photos when replying to a message. It makes for a messy thread.

That is all.

Danke!

Ja, I had never been to Denmark until a few weeks ago when I drove there with the 550i. Although my visit was brief, it was a very pleasant trip and drive.
