Hello all,

I have a 2010 550i. I've found the lowest-speed setting for the wipers to still be too fast for most rainy conditions, and I was wondering if there's a way to adjust the speed even slower.

Apologies if this topic has been asked and answered in the past; I searched fro the topic and didn't find anything.

I think what you want is the automatic rain sensing position. Do you have a picture of a wiper with an "A" next to it at the end of your wiper control stalk? If so, push it and you get rain sensing mode. There is also a dial to adjust the intensity of the rain sensing function. Mine is pre-LCI, so maybe your LCI controls are different.

^^ exactly... I thought it was standard on 545's and 550's but what the hell do I know. If so as stated, just push the button and it will only work as necessary... if not then you may have a sensor issue. I cant imagine a 2010 not having this feature.

Thanks, guys. I do have the automatic rain sensing function, but I've never used it -- I'll give it a shot. Appreciate your advice!
