Default Windscreen washer reservoir modification

I am installing the projector xenon in my fog light with replica msport bumper. Things were going well until i tried to put the bumper on and the rear end of the projector on driver side hit the washer fluid reservoir a by a few tiny bit.

Would it be ok to carve a bit of the washer and weld it with epoxy to make room for the light? I think it is just a reservoir after all but wanted to get some wisdom from you guys first. Possibly someone tried it a better way before so appreciate all the input.

Thanks

I don't know what material it is and if it is possible at all but I would try to carefully reshape it after heating it up with a heat gun before the carving thing first. Maybe you can try it on a junk yard reservoir.
