Have you guys noticed that the LCI windscreen water jets are non adjustable.

I'm not perfectively happy with the OEM part settings.

I'm sure there are some Munich engineers reading this thread, who are now commiting themselves to designing i-drive adjustable windscreen jets for he F10.
And while they're at it, why not implement some presets and speed-dependant behaviour as well?

I'm not sure what timewa said but I have never ever (and I've been aroud for five or four years) see adjustable windshield squirters.

Ric ... where have you seen them ... I don't doubt that you have.

They were all adjustable. Using a pin in the jet you could rotate the ball-type valve to change the direction of spray. Quite annoying to actually do as the slightest movement in the jet would change the trajectory by 3-4" on the windshield.

Not sure why the LCI jets are not adjustable. Will check tomorrow.

Personally I find it strange that BMW actually equip the car with windscreen jets in the first place. Shouldn't they be on the option list with a Retail price of $650?

Our MB S550 has the jets attached to the wiper so that you don't have to deal with adjusting them =) i think that type of system would work better on the F10

This is also how the 2008 Suburban does it as well...seems to work pretty good.

Now you are laughing at yourself

Sure they where, if I don't remember wrong, both my '04 and '05 E60 had adjustable jets,
at least my E39 did have and all BMW's I owned before that.
