I cant figure it out.. Everytime I rollup my rear passenger window, it automatically rolls back down halfway. Has anyone ever seen this problem?
(try the Google search at the top of the page first)

Do a search using the term "anti-trap" and see if that helps....

i had this problem. i took it to the dealer and they said the track that the windows slide in were causing too much friction and set the "anti-trap" mechanism. They cleaned the window wells. i'm not sure how but i'm guessing they took some silicon spray and sprayed the inside.

I have an 05 and had the problem with my front passenger side window. I took it to the dealer and they said there is a service bulletin for this problem. They replaced the motor in the door (not quite sure why the motor would be the problem.) However, that fixed the problem.

My driver's door window does that when the engine is off but not when it's running. Seems like the slightly lower voltage without the engine running bringsout the fault.

Thats funny as I used to have the same problem in my Audi. Sometime the passenger window would do the same thing, or sometimes Id turn the knob to open the sun roof and it wouldnt do a damn thing, some times the sun roof would just close tilt on its own. I used to think my Audi had ghosts in the system, glad to know that I wasnt going crazy.
