Window anti trap error!
#1
The thing it's like this! I have the car for about 2 months and i started noticing smth odd, when i lifted up the windows, it lifted almost half-way and than came back again. I know this is quite common, and didn't bother too much but now i have the problem pointed everytime i start the engine (the yellow door! signal). The thing is that the window comes back after half way very very rarely but the indicator in my dash is quite annoying!
Anyway the car obiusly is under warranty but i don't know what to do? I could take it to my dealer and have it fixed under warranty but i'm worried not to mess with my car and start other problems aswell. So what needs to be done? What needs to be changed? Do they have to take off the side door panels? What would you advice me?
Thank you alot!

Had this on my car--they replaced the window drive. They remove the door panel to access it.
I had it repaired. They remove the door panel and you'd never know they did (no damage or new noises!). I left the car for the day for a few items. That was the front passenger window--now the driver's window is doing the same thing!

Both of my front windows do this occassionally, and I do get the anti-trap warning on the dash.
I have no other issues, so I'll just wait to bring it to the dealer 'til I have more of a reason to do so, such as hopefully the mp3 software upgrade
When the software upgrade comes (mp3 support) what reasons can i come up with to make them upgrade the software? The anti-trap may not be enough! right?

This is fairly simple to reset. Just open all windows all the way and hold the switches down for a few secs, then close them all the way and hold all switches up again for a few secs. This way you 'teach' the computer how far the windows open and close.
