I have a 2008 535xi. A recent message popped up expressing "window anti-trap deactivated". Its ridiculous that I cannot locate help in the booklet of manuals pertaining to the car that is sending a factory provided message. I have read elsewhere that this is a fairly simple issue with typically a fairly simple resolution. Please, if anyone can point me in a DIY direction, I'd sincerely appreciate it.

very simple process (worked for me plenty of times maybe your situation is unique but this is what I have done in the past)
#1 Make sure all your windows are completely up
#2 Put all your windows Down at the same time
#3 Pull all your Windows up at the same time
Make sure that you do this all at the same time while holding the buttons down and then up (considering one of the windows anti trap function is disabled thus the automatic feature dosnt work anymore)
