Will I feel the difference between my current 530i and the E60 530i?

My Ride: 2002 BMW 530i - Silver 2008 BMW X5 xDrive 30d - Black 2007 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro - Silver

My current 5er has a 3.0L straight 6 with 231hp. I think I should just get the new 530i with 272hp. Will I feel the extra 41hp? Will a 530i really do 250kph?

My Ride: 2004 - 530i Sport, Auto, Alpine White, Dark Poplar, Beige Dakota w/ Comfort Seats, Cold Weather Package (yeah I know I live in SC, but I love it on my back after a long day of golf), Logic 7, Parking Assist, & Auto Sunshade.

I cant speak specifically to the horspower since my switch recently was from an e39 528i to the new e60 530i, but what I noticed and found when I first drove an e60 was how much different (better) the e60 felt from an overall drivability standpoint. I loved (I guess I should say love since I havent sold it yet) my e39, but the e60 drives so much sportier it is fantastic. It was funny I was originally looking at 2002-2003 e39's, as I liked the look better than the e60 originally, but the look of the e60 grew on me. Once I drove one it completely changed my mind. I bought the e60 in January, and have just been overjoyed with it.

Do it if you can.
