Have an opportunity to get a free set of these from a work colleague, but not sure if they will be a problem on my 2005 530?
I have seen that there would be both "no problem" and also that the hubs are a different size, and that the there might not be enough room for the brake calipers.
He has two sets of tires, Blizzaks and summer tread. I'm hoping to be able to use them for winter.
Any experience on whether these will work?
Here are some pics:

If your 530 is RWD - not Xi - they should be just fine. If I recall, the offsets for ET39 are slightly aggressive for E60, but doable. If you get any rubbing on the fenders, just roll them bad boys and heat-gun the plastic fender lining. One thing though, the tires from E39 probably won't work. I don't remember exact sizes for E39, but I'm 99% certain they are different for e60. I think they'll look a bit small too, but I love these wheels

I have a set of wheels that were made for a e39 m5 and they fit fine on my non-m e60 all you need is hubcentric rings because the e39 bore size is bigger than the e60
