Why does my 2008 535i have that ugly looking reflector on the front fender near the tire well? Can I paint it?

then I suggest popping the reflector off and taking it to a paint shop ...that's what most members have done..

Ok, so does that mean the paint shop will need to use body filler and then paint it to make it flush.

No. Gene meant to have the reflectors painted to match the color of your car, and not body filled the holes and repaint the whole bumper. That's too costly to cover 2 tiny yellow reflectors. IMO
