I have had an 06 330 loaner for the last couple of days and it has power folding mirrors. Whats the deal with that, why dont the U.S. E60s also have this. Doesnt make sense to me.

I have wondered the same thing. Just seems crazy to leave that feature out when other countries get it.

Stupid BMWNA!

We don't have 15' wide cobblestone streets with maniacs on Vespas scooting around. And I certainly don't want to pay for them either; I'm perfectly capable of folding them manually should the occasion arise.

Cheers,

I'm not so sure. I've driven in Washington DC and NYC. I think the cobblestone is an upgrade from the pot holes and I have better odds against a Vespa than I do against a metro bus.

Yeah, I'm in Arlington, VA and my E60 doesn't go to DC. Metro baby!

Yes we may have bigger, wider roads, but apparently BMW thought they were narrow enough to offer the option on the 330... Not that I would pay for it personally!

I would like to have them. My 545i parks in a reasonable narrow garage slot. Also, for longer than I would like to remember, I have had a car I am selling "stored" on my driveway. The best place for it is close to where I back out in the 545i. I watch both sides when entering and exiting my garage carefully in the 545i, but I would find folding mirrors to be quite useful unless they lulled me into a false sense of security. So, I agree, why not?

So what does the cheapie E90 get them if we have "wider and bigger roads?" Why does the TOp of the line E90 get Logig 7 as standard?
Why does the E90 get Aux Input as standard since the beginning of introduction BEFORE the E60.

Why why why?

Why why why?
cause BMW NA blows and the US always gets shafted?

Why no M Sport Packages for US E60?
Why no real LC on US E60 M5's?
Why no BMW Individual in the US?
Why no 1 Series in the US?
Why no E46 M3 CSL in the US?
Why no E36 M3 Evos in the US?
Why no E30 M3 Evos in the US?
etc.
