I'm pretty sure airplane paint is highly toxic and that you need a special respirator to use the stuff... I had a friend who used to be a air force maintaner and he was talking about getting free airplane paint from a buddy. He was asking us if he should just take it to the auto paint shop and not tell them it is airplane paint. I did not give my approval.

Painted mine red using dupli color paint (20$), applied 3 coats. Make sure you wash off all the dirt and grease off the breaks cause that's gonna determine how long it's gonna stay on there. A good weekend project!

Did mine with the Duplicolor kit, it's easy, I would just suggest going to Lowes and getting a little 1" foam brush - I found the brush that comes with the kit is too small and leaves brush strokes. Little foam brush solved both those problems
