My calipers look they are ruined. They are rusted, pitted, dirty and they look like they came on a kia...Can these be painted without ruining them? If so, should I have a body shop do it or a powdercoater powdercoat the calipers? Will the heat make the paint fall off? If I powdercoat, will the oven they use destroy the caliper?

Get the Duplicolor Caliper Kit. It's so easy to use even a caveman can do it .

Take the wheels off, clean the calipers with brake cleaner and use caliper paint. It is that easy. You can get the paint from most Auto Zones or Pep boys.

Because you touch yourself at night.

But no really, you can just spray paint over them. That's what I did on my old 545i. Taped off the surrounding area with newspaper, cleaned the calipers with alcohol, and just spray painted them with the duplicolor stuff.
